A unique property in a traditional pueblo blanco with magnificent views.

Los Dos Pajaros (The Two Birds) is at the top of the oldest and prettiest road in the village. This unique property has been built as an ‘upside-down’ house with the living area upstairs to take full advantage of the natural rocky terrain and magnificent views From a spacious hall the stairs lead up to the living area. Arched entrances lead to a modern fitted kitchen and to a large lounge/dining area with a real “wow” factor. There is natural rock wall with a small cave – this is where you will find the two birds! There is a comfortable seating area and dining furniture for 6 persons. The space is enhanced, as is the whole house, with paintings, art posters and ethnic artefacts. Patio doors lead to a large half-covered terrace, where you will find everything you need for al fresco living, including a second dining area. An attractive roof garden is set against a backdrop of the hills around. For cooling off in summer there is a tub set into the rock with seating for 4 and a shower.
Notes on prices
Rates are for 2 persons and for use of one bedroom only. For 3/4 persons or use of both bedrooms rates are: Low season £450; High season £540 per week. Special rates are available for long stays. Please contact the owner for details. Deposit. The deposit to secure your booking is 20% of the total cost of your stay. Balance. The balance is due 4 weeks before your date of arrival. Check-in. The house will be ready for you at 16:00 h. Please collect the key between 16:00 and 19:00 h from the house manager, Anita Martel, who lives just down the same road on the right (at 7 Calle Nacimiento). Anita will then show you the house, the facilities and the safety features of the house.If you are delayed and later than 19:00 h, Anita will leave a notice on her door about the key. Anita does not speak English but is very efficient and will ensure that you have an enjoyable stay.You can park your car in the street in front of Los Dos Pajaros. Check-out. Check-out time is 11:00

It is a short drive to other white villages and historic Ronda with its famous gorge, palaces and museums. Lovely walks start from just outside the front door! Location Information: Montecorto, situated on the edge of the beautiful Grazalema National Park, is one of the ‘pueblos blancos’ (white villages) which are amongst the prettiest in Spain. The views are spectacular, and in cooler months the area has some of the best walking in Europe. Just a short drive away are the extraordinary Roman theatre and Pileta cave with some of Europe’s best cave paintings. Historic Ronda, one of Spain’s most spectacular towns, can be reached in 15 minutes and has palaces, art galleries and its famous gorge. To stay in this friendly village is to witness the real Spain, a world away from the crowds and commercialism of the “Costa.” The village has everything for your needs with bars (some of which serve reasonably priced tapas), two small general stores, two bread shops and a fish shop. For eating out there is a restaurant at the edge of the village. There is also a bank and a garage. For summer visits there is lovely swimming pool, just 3 minutes walk from the property.
