Are you an aspiring escapee? Come and spend a week (or even two) in this detached, private, tranquil, self-contained Dordogne hideaway. Idyllic, rural, hilltop position overlooking a stunningly scenic coombe and perfectly positioned in one of the most beautiful areas of the Dordogne valley.

Kitchenette has small gas cooker, microwave, refrigerator, double sink and drainer, toaster, kettle, iron, ironing board and clothes airer. Cookware, crockery, glassware and cutlery for two. Picnic basket with rug. Shower room with vanity unit; independent water heating system, personal towels and leisure towels. Separate WC on ground floor veranda.

Le Petit Coin is situated high above the Dordogne valley but within easy walking distance of the charming small town of Le Buisson de Cadouin. Le Buisson sits on the banks of the Dordogne and boasts delightful swimming and canoe/kayak facilities and hiking paths. It has its own cosy cinema, a mainline railway station and a traditional weekly produce market. Evening gourmet markets are held weekly in June, July and August. There are two small supermarkets, a pharmacy, a bank with ATM, post office, an excellent restaurant and several bars/auberges. There are two 18-hole golf courses within 20 minutes’ drive, and a delightful 9 hole course 5 minutes away.

An Arrival Day Welcome Pack is provided typically comprising; tea bags, instant coffee, milk, sugar, fruit juice, fresh bread, butter and condiments.
Fresh Linen and towels are supplied on weekly basis.
A mid-week change of linen & towels is available and personal laundry can be arranged (at extra cost)
End of stay standard cleaning service is included, provided that the property is left in an acceptable condition. See T’s and C’s.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
Arrival/Departure Day: Saturday to Saturday only.
A part week booking may be available. Please contact the owner using the form at the bottom of this ad.
In high season full payment is required with booking, plus breakage deposit.
In low and mid season, a deposit of £125 is required at time of booking; balance and breakage deposit payable 9 weeks prior to arrival date.
Breakage/damage/extra cleaning deposit of £200 (refundable) is payable.
Terms: Booking deposit as above by bank transfer.
For customers paying in Euros. We will advise on amount based on current exchange rates.
Balance and Damage Deposit payable by bank transfer not less than 9 weeks before arrival. If booking less than 9 weeks before arrival, the full amount is payable with your booking.
Check in time: From 4 pm to 7 pm on day of arrival.
Check out time: 10 am on day of departure.
