BROOMBANK COTTAGE is set on a working croft only 7 miles from Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands. Situated close to Culloden Moor, the site of the historic and infamous Battle of Culloden in 1746, the cottage is ideally located to explore the Highlands of Scotland or visit some of the many attractions within the area.

Available all year round BROOMBANK COTTAGE is bright, spacious and has all modern conveniences to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The cottage comfortably sleeps 6 on 2 floors and is ideally suited to couples and groups.

By Road

Departing Inverness follow the signs for the A9 heading south, then take the slip road marked B9006 Culloden Moor. At traffic lights take a right and follow the road for approximately 6 miles through the Culloden Battlefield and continue on for a further mile – Broombank Cottage is on the left side of the road.

From the South take the slip road at Daviot marked B851 signposted for Culloden Moor\Croy. Follow this single-track road for approximately 3 miles until it merges with the B9006 towards Croy. Dive a further mile, Broombank Cottage is on the left side of the road before you leave the 40 mph limit at Newlands.

By Air

Arriving at Inverness Airport where several major car hire companies are based. Located 5.6 miles from the Airport follow the signs for the A96 Inverness. At 3rd roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A96 Inverness – Turn left at Tornagrain – continue on for 0.96 miles then turn right onto the B9006 – continue for a further 1.58 miles – Broombank Cottage is on your right.

By Rail

Inverness Railway Station – Broombank Cottage is 7 miles out of Inverness. Taxis are based at the front of the station. Alternatively, checkout the local bus timetables for services to nearby Croy, Inverness-shire.

Just west of Inverness lies Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle – you may be lucky enough to spot “Nessie”!
